Despicable Me 2 and The Lone Ranger.

Two movies in a row for yesterday!
Watched Despicable Me 2 and The Lone Ranger.
It was supposed to be Despicable Me 2 only. But, apparently, the Hitz cruisers were giving out free tickets to watch The Lone Ranger. I didn't know it at first, but my cousin called and asked whether or not I want to watch The Lone Ranger.
I was like 'okay, why not?'
At approximately 4.45 p.m, we went to meet the Hitz cruiser at FTMS. Those who win in the game will get 4 tickets to watch the movie. Yeah! So here we go.
Played this game called 007 Bang. Lol. The cruisers were explaining to us how to play. And there we go. Who will be the only 7 standing? Haha. Each winners will be entitled four free tickets!
My cousin and I won those tickets. So we have 8 tickets in total. Yeah. Free movie to watch! *dance dance*
Gave the last ticket to Jacq. Hehe. Sadly, we sit on the second row from the front. It was so close to the screen.
But oh well, it's free. Don't complain! Haha.

Here's the plot for Despicable Me 2!

The film is set about three years after the first. A secret laboratory near the Arctic Circle, is stolen by a mysterious vehicle using a giant magnet. The Anti-Villain League (AVL) become suspicious about this case as the lab contains a mutating chemical compound, PX-41, which could transform living things into indestructible killing machines. The organization decides to recruit Gru, as he is a former villain, and could help the AVL prevent the mutating chemical from getting into the wrong hands.
Lucy Wilde, an AVL agent forcibly abducts Gru after stunning him unconscious with her lipstick taser. Two of Gru's minions who try to thwart her plans are captured also. They travel to AVL's underwater headquarters where Gru meets the league's director, Silas Ramsbottom. He asks Gru to assist them in their efforts to track down the perpetrator and the missing mutagen. Gru refuses, preferring to concentrate on his new venture of producing bottled jellies and the responsibilities of being a father to his three adopted girls, Margo, Agnes and Edith. Before he leaves, Lucy admits she was impressed by his work as a villain and gives her business card to Gru, urging him to contact her if he changes his mind. Upon return to his lab, Gru realizes that his minion-run production line had churned out bottles of awful-tasting jellies. Also, his research scientist, Dr. Nefario confesses to Gru that he misses being "evil" and has been offered employment elsewhere. After giving Dr. Nefario a 21 fart-gun send-off with the minions, Gru contacts Lucy and takes on the task of recovering the stolen mutagen.
Traces of chemical scent given off by the mutagen narrow the search to the confines of The Paradise Shopping Mall. Gru works undercover as the owner of a cupcake shop in that mall with Lucy being assigned as his partner. He suspects one of the owners of a restaurant in the mall, named Eduardo, is an old super-villain called El Macho, who supposedly died after body-strapping TNT and riding a shark into an active volcano that resulted in his fiery demise. Lucy and Gru then decide to break into his restaurant but are spotted by Eduardo's pet chicken and narrowly escape from being caught by Eduardo when he returns back to his shop late in the night. However, they find only a jar of secret-recipe salsa in his safe and nothing relevant to link Eduardo to the crime. While the team investigates wig merchant Floyd Eagle-san, Margo begins to develop a crush on Eduardo's son, Antonio, to Gru's frustration. The whole family is invited to Eduardo's Cinco de Mayo party at his mansion where Gru's protectiveness of his daughter leads him to make baseless wild accusations to the AVL's Silas about Eduardo as El Macho and his son, which are scoffed at.
Later that day, a determined matchmaking neighbor, Jillian, sets a reluctant Gru up on a date with her rude and superficial friend Shannon. During the date, Shannon discovers Gru's wig and threatens to humiliate him, but Lucy saves him from embarrassment by shooting her with a tranquilizing dart. They take Shannon home, and Gru realizes he is in love with Lucy. When he arrives at the mall the next day, the Anti-Villain League arrest Floyd Eagle-san, who protests vehemently that he was framed, after the AVL team uncovers the empty mutagen jar in his shop. Silas tells Gru that the case is now closed and that Lucy will be assigned to Australia for work. Gru, heartbroken from the situation, tells Agnes that she was right that he loves her. However, Gru is unable to muster the courage to ask Lucy out before she leaves. The family then goes to Eduardo's party. Gru follows Eduardo and discovers that he was correct about Eduardo being the presumed-dead super-villain El Macho. Gru also discovers that Dr. Nefario has been working for Eduardo and that the duo has been capturing and mutating some of Gru's minions into the purple-furred monsters using the stolen mutagen serum. Eduardo offers Gru a chance to conquer the world, but Gru makes unconvincing excuses and hastily leaves with the girls. Margo has also broken up with Antonio as he became interested in another girl. For breaking her heart, Gru encases Antonio in a block of ice with his freeze-ray.
Lucy, while in the plane bound for Australia, realizes that she wants to be with Gru, and jumps out to hang-glide to the party. Eduardo discovers her true identity and captures her after his chicken retrieves her AVL ID badge from her purse. Dr. Nefario calls Gru to tell him that Lucy has been captured. Gru disguises two of his minions in purple paint to escort his "captured" self into Eduardo's compound in a rescue attempt. Gru manages to restore the minions who were under El Macho's control using the awful-tasting jam infused with the antidote which Dr. Nefario made and defeats El Macho. After El Macho collapses to the ground, Gru tries to untie Lucy who is strapped onto a TNT-loaded shark rocket. While attempting to do so, Eduardo's pet chicken triggers the launch remote, sending the pair flying towards the lava-spewing volcano where El Macho faked his death. While on the rocket, Lucy accepts Gru's date invitation before the pair dives into the safety of the ocean, just seconds before the rocket explodes. One hundred and forty-seven dates later, the two are married and the girls finally have a mother. The minions close with a rendition of "Y.M.C.A" and "I Swear" (mistakenly sung as "Underwear") while the family dances. However, soon after the final picture is taken, a mutated purple furry minion appears, surprising the family.
During the credits, three Minions are seen "auditioning" for the upcoming Minions movie. However, a black wall showing the credits keeps falling and blocking their way.
Despicable Me 2 minions are super cute! Agnes is cute too! So adorable! How can they be so cute?! Haha. I want those minions from MacDonalds! But they are out of stock so fast. :O Neverminddddd. It's okay. Lol.

Plot for The Lone Ranger.

In 1933 at a country fair in San Francisco, a young boy named Will, who idolizes a legend known as the Lone Ranger, encounters a seemingly ordinary mannequin that is revealed to be a real native American named Tonto, an elderly Comanche spirit warrior, who proceeds to recount his experiences with lawyer John Reid, the original Lone Ranger.
Shifting to 1869, Reid is returning home via the uncompleted Transcontinental Railroad, managed by railroad tycoon Latham Cole, en route to Colby, Texas to visit his older brother and Texas Ranger, Dan Reid. Unbeknownst to John, the train is also carrying Tonto and outlaw Butch Cavendish, who is being transported for his hanging after being apprehended by Dan. Cavendish's gang, however, hijacks the train, which derails soon after, resulting in Butch escaping and Tonto's arrest by John and Dan. The elder Reid recruits John as a Texas Ranger and the two are enlisted to track down the Cavendish gang alongside a group of six other Rangers.
A few days into their expedition, the group is ambushed in a canyon by Cavendish's men who kill the Rangers, including Dan, who has his heart cut out and eaten by Butch himself. John is injured as well in the attack and dies, only to be found and revived by Silver, a white spirit horse thought to be sacred by the Comanche. When Reid awakens, he is informed by Tonto of his new status as a "spirit walker" (one that has been to the other side), and reveals that he cannot be killed in battle. Tonto also confirms that Collins (one of the seven original Rangers) betrayed Dan and is working alongside Cavendish, a "wendigo". As John is thought to be dead, he is made to wear a mask by Tonto to protect his identity as Butch would try and kill him permanently if he knew John had survived. They then travel to a brothel which had been visited by Collins recently.
There, they find Red Harrington, who gives them brief information about the fight between Dan and Collins over some silver rock. John touches the rock and experiences a hallucination, which Tonto says to be cursed. Cavendish's men begin raiding settlements near the Comanche-American border while disguised as Comanche indians. John and Tonto arrive after one such raid abducts Rebecca and Danny Reid, Dan's widow and son, the former of whom shares a mutual attraction with John. John and Tonto follow one of Cavendish's horses in an attempt to find where Rebecca and Danny have been taken to. Collins, who regrets his actions against Dan, attempts to assist Rebecca and Danny in escaping, but is shot dead by Cole, who rescues the mother and son. Assuming the raids are a sign that the Comanche have become increasingly hostile, Cole announces the continued construction of the railroad and dispatches Captain Jay Fuller, who leads the United States Cavalry in an extermination campaign against the Comanche.
A Comanche tribe captures John and Tonto soon after they find railroad tracks in Comanche territory. The tribe leader tells John of Tonto's past: brothers Butch Cavendish and Latham Cole were rescued from near-death by a young Tonto. They found a rock of silver in the river, and traded Tonto a pocket watch to show them where the silver came from, which turns out to be an immense and undiscovered silver mine. The brothers then murdered the entire tribe to keep the mine a secret. Unable to bear the burden of his role in the massacre, Tonto told himself that the silver had possessed the brothers, and therefore kept the pocket watch as a sign of his bad trade, along with his deceased pet crow on his head in hopes that it will return to life once he atones for his sins.
The duo escape captivity as the Comanche attack the cavalry. Tonto leads John to the silver mine, where they kill Cavendish's men and capture Butch. Tonto attempts to kill Cavendish, but John knocks him unconscious and decides to bring in Butch alive, both honoring his oath as a prosecutor and hoping to end the coming war. Upon returning Cavendish to Latham Cole and Captain Jay Fuller's custody, Cole's role in the silver mining operation is revealed. Fuller is swayed to side with Cole out of fear that if his actions were to be publically revealed, he'd be charged as a war criminal. Meanwhile, Rebecca (who had been "rescued" from Cavendish by Cole) is kept on his personal train as a trophy wife and held hostage against John, who is being brought on the train back to the silver mine to be executed. However, he is rescued by Tonto and the two flee the mine as the Comanche warriors are massacred by the cavalry.
Realizing the men's corruption, John decides to become an outlaw. The duo rob a bank which contains explosives and use them to destroy the bridge connecting the railroad's tracks to Comanche territory. As the railroad is completed, Cole announces to the railroad owners that he will be buying out the company using the funds obtained by selling the mined silver, which has been collected and stored on his personal train. With help from Red, John and Tonto manage to stop the cavalry and steal Cole's personal train with the silver. A prolonged two-train fight occurs, during which Fuller is killed by falling off a train, Cavendish is killed by being hit by one of the opposing trains, and Rebecca is rescued by jumping onto John's horse and kissing John. Tonto is held at gunpoint by Cole only to be saved by John after he fired the silver bullet given to him earlier by his nephew. The sequence culminates with Cole, his train, and the silver falling off the destroyed bridge and into the river below.
The town and railroad enterprise recognize John (whose identity is still unknown to them) as a hero and offer him a law-enforcement position, since the town's rangers were all killed. John declines, and he and Tonto ride off. Back in 1933, Tonto instructs Will to never remove the mask. In a post-credits scene, Tonto is seen walking away from the camera in the desert.

I shall stop here! Till then.

Xoxo.
