Carrie and the free birds.

Watched Carrie a few weeks ago. I watched the trailer and it looks scary. Had to watch it at MBO because my MBO card is expiring.

There's new MBO card. And the money inside the old card cannot be transferred to the new card. So no choice but to watch movie at MBO.

The movie is not as scary as I expected. I expect it to be very scary. But no. I think the movie 'Nightmare at the Elm Street' and 'The Sorority Row' are scarier.

Went for another movie on 18th November. This is funny. Because I went to GSC with my students and their mother. Together with a whole bunch of kids and aunts! Is there any tutors out there that watch movie with their students and their mother? Probably there is.

We watched free birds. It's about removing turkey from the thanksgiving menu. Travel back in time to save the turkeys. Haha. It's not a very bad movie. Quite nice.

Potato scallop.

Sup people. Haven't been blogging because I'm lazy. 

So I was watching @itsjudytime vlog and Benji was making potato scallop for thanksgiving! It looks so yummy. Decided to give it a try. 

I've seen video on how to make potato scallop by Aussie griller. It looks easy to make.

Ingredients that you'll need:

1. Potatoes (of course) What's potato scallop without potatoes.

2. 40g of butter

3. Salt

4. Pepper

5. 1 liter of milk

6. 1/3 of flour

7. Onions (I didn't put any onions) 

It's up to you whether you want to put onions in your potato scallops. 

The sauce:

Melt the butter and add the flour. Mix them well. Pour in the milk. Stir until it thickens. Add salt and pepper. Add until you're satisfied with the flavor. 

While your sauce thickens, you can slice the potatoes into thin slices. 

When your sauce is done, pour it into the casserole. Cover the bottom of the casserole and layer it with the slices of potatoes. Continue doing it until you ran out of potatoes and the sauce. 

Wrap your casserole with aluminum foil and bake it in the oven at 250 degree Celsius. For about 35 minutes. Remove the foil and cook it for another 15 minutes. Until it's golden brown.

That's it.

I never tried it before. It's my first attempt. I would say it tastes okay. Add oregano! It tastes way better. Trust me.

My brother say it's not bad. I think he's probably hungry. That's why. I think his taste buds got problem too. Lol.

I'm in dilemma right now. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M DILEMMA-ING NOW. ._. THIS IS BAD.

Thank god I'm sleeping earlier already, which is still late for those who sleep before 12. I SLEEP AT 1 SOMETHING OKAY. THAT'S EARLY LIAO. Because there's this period of time where I sleep at 3 something in the morning. Even at 5 I'm still awake. It's not that I drank coffee or what. CONFESSION: I STOPPED DRINKING COFFEE PROBABLY MORE THAN A MONTH ALREADY. THAT'S A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT FOR ME BECAUSE I LOVE TO DRINK COFFEE. I just couldn't sleep. I probably have things on my mind. But I probably don't know what is it too.

I'm gonna continue drinking coffee. Because I want the Starbucks 2014 planner. Haha. It's time to start drinking coffee again. The only thing that I worry is, will I be able to sleep. Without coffee I slept at 5. With coffee I might not sleep for days. -.- Okay, I'm exaggerating. Ignore me.

I thought of a quote for quite some time. I don't know if this quote exists somewhere else. But I just thought of it.

Hitz Invasion!

It's the time of the year again. Third year of Hitz Invasion. I wasn't excited for it. Mainly because I don't have any friends to go with. There's no one I would like to see. Except for Jin and Ryan. Sadly, this year, there's only three KL announcers coming to Kuching Hitz Invasion.

Anyway, I was lucky because my cousin asked me if I would want to go to the meet and greet session in the afternoon at ST3. I was like yeah of course! I got to meet Sidney Samson and the rest.

Although I didn't go to the Hitz invasion, at least I get to meet them right? There were a lot of reporters there too! I didn't know me and the rest of the Hitz lucky winners were in the newspaper until my cousin told me.

He was like 'Eh Melia, you're in the newspaper!'

Me: Ah? Which newspaper?

Cousin: Sin Chew. 

Me: Haha. Okayyyyyyy

*Went to grandma house. Check the newspaper.*

Yea yea. I'm in there. But I'm so ugly. LOL. 

*Later in the evening*

Mum: Aunty say you're in Borneo Post too?

Me: Oh really?

Yea yea. It's a better picture of us! Haha. That's good. So funny.

Four Points stay.

If you read my recent blog post H.E.R.E., I mentioned that I've won a two days one night stay at Four Points Hotel.

I spend two freaking hours for breakfast. HAHAHAHA. But I didn't really eat. I was so full. Didn't even try everything! Regretted much. But oh wells haha.

Thor : The Dark World

It's been a long time since I last went to the cinema. Went to the cinema last Friday night. Watched Thor : The Dark World. It's so awesome! It's really a good movie. The second best action/superhero movie besides The Wolverine. I would rate it a 9 out of 10. 

Isn't the actress pretty?! Loki is so awesomeeeeeeeeeeee. So cuteeeeeee.

It's funny how people just leave right after the movie finished. There might be a short film waiting for you, you know. Haha. So most of the audiences went out and only a few of us. We saw the short film. Haha. I bet there's gonna be another movie coming out soon. Can't wait for it! Lol.

Here's the plot of the movie.

Eons ago, Bor, the father of Odin, clashes with the Dark Elf Malekith, who seeks to destroy the universe using a weapon known as the Aether. After conquering Malekith's forces, including enhanced warriors called the Kursed, on their home world of Svartalfheim, Bor safeguards the Aether within a stone column. Unbeknownst to him, Malekith, his lieutenant Algrim, and a handful of Dark Elves escape into suspended animation.

In present-day Asgard, Loki stands imprisoned for his war crimes on Earth. Meanwhile, Thor, alongside warriors Fandral, Volstagg and Sif repel marauders on Vanaheim, home of their comrade Hogun; it is the final battle in a war to pacify the Nine Realms following the reconstruction of Bifröst, the "Rainbow Bridge" between realms, which had been destroyed two years prior through Loki's machinations. In London, Jane Foster's intern, Darcy Lewis, now with her own intern, Ian, takes Jane to an abandoned factory where objects have begun to disobey the laws of physics and disappear into thin air. Separating from the group, Jane is teleported to another world, where she is infected by the Aether.

The Asgardians learn that the Convergence, a rare alignment of the Nine Realms, is imminent; as the event approaches, portals linking the worlds appear at random. Heimdall alerts Thor of Jane's recent disappearance, leading Thor to search for her. When she inadvertently releases an unearthly force, he takes her to Asgard. There, Asgardian doctors say they do not know how to treat her. Odin, recognizing she contains the Aether, warns Thor her infection will kill Jane given enough time, and that the Aether's return heralds a catastrophic prophecy.

Malekith, awakened by the Aether's release, turns Algrim into a Kursed and attacks Asgard. During the battle, Malekith and Algrim search for Jane, knowing she contains the Aether. When they fail to capture her, they escape, killing Thor's mother, Frigga. Despite Odin's orders not to leave Asgard, Thor reluctantly teams up with Loki, who knows of a secret portal to Malekith's world, where they will use Jane to lure and confront Malekith, away from Asgard. In return, Thor promises Loki that he can have his revenge on Malekith for killing their mother. With Volstagg and Sif stalling Asgardian soldiers and Fandral assisting their escape, Thor and Loki commandeer a Dark Elf spaceship and escape to Svartalfheim with Jane.

On Svartalfheim, Loki tricks Malekith into drawing the Aether out of Jane. However, Thor's attempt to destroy the substance fails, and the Aether-empowered Malekith leaves with his ship as Loki appears to be fatally wounded while protecting Thor from Algrim. Thor, cradling Loki in his arms, promises to tell their father of his sacrifice. Following Loki's apparent death, Thor and Jane discover another portal in a nearby cave and reunite with Selvig, Darcy and Ian in London. There, they learn that Malekith plans to unleash the Aether to destroy the universe, and that he will do this in Greenwich, the center of the Convergence. Thor battles Malekith, but a portal separates them, leaving Malekith unopposed. Thor comes back in time to help Jane, Selvig, Darcy and Ian use their scientific equipment to transport Malekith to Svartalfheim, killing him before he can destroy the universe.

Thor returns to Asgard, where he declines Odin's offer to take the throne and tells Odin of Loki's sacrifice. As he leaves, Odin's form transforms to that of a grinning Loki.

In a mid-credits scene, Volstagg and Sif visit the Collector and entrust the Aether to his care, commenting that, with the Tesseract already in Asgard, having two Infinity Stones so close together would be dangerous. As they leave, the Collector remarks, "One down, five to go." In a post-credits scene, Jane and Thor reunite on Earth, while somewhere in London a frost monster fromJotunheim, accidentally transported to Earth during the final battle, continues to run amok.

Happy Halloween! *Edited*

This is also a late post. It's okay. Lol.

Anyway, happy Halloween nonetheless. Haha. Hope all of you had fun during this special day. Where you can dress up anyhow you want. 

I decided to just be myself. LOL. This is such a lame excuse. 

Actually bought some red colour paint. But didn't use. 

There's this event happening last Friday. There's this game where you have to find the liken. And asked the person, 'are you the liken?'. So I was asked to become the liken. I think that's how you spell it right? I even googled it. Because I don't even know what is it. Lol. I googled and it showed me pictures of ware wolf. So I assume liken is a wolf?. 

So they have to ask around. Sadly no one asked. In the end a guy asked me. The winner will get RM 1000 cash! So lucky! Congrats to you!

What did I get for helping them? Two days one night stay at Four Points! HAHAHAHA.

So the next day, I spent my day and night at the hotel. Hehehhehehehe. It's my first time going there alone. Bro and his friends joined me at night. 

It's my first time staying at the hotel. It's very big and tall. Everything there is huge. Makes me feel so empty inside. 

Spent my afternoon in the room watching movies! Haha. Can't believe I spent my afternoon in the room watching movies. And of course take many many pictures. Haha. Went to the swimming pool and gym. The swimming pool is so beautiful. It's so nice.

Get to met Ah Kiong and Eric because they work there. Haha. Went Wu Cha with Eric. And guess who I saw! My long lost friend! Alvin Chiam! He's my senior. Sadly the day I met him is the last day he'll be in Kuching! So gonna hang out with him and a few friends when he's back. Couldn't remember how we actually became friends. All I remember is he's a prefect. And when he's on duty in the morning, we'll help him. Normally we don't because we just don't. Took Polaroid with him. Wanted to see the picture but he left it here in Kuching!

Went back to hotel and played cards. Haha. Guess what time we slept? Freaking 3 in the morning. We just play cards and watch some movies. Walking dead.

I had fun! Had a really long week. Need something to destress. Glad that I got free stay at the hotel. I'll get to just stay away from work.

Appreciate that! Thanks to the organizer for the free stay. As much as I want the RM 1000, I'm glad I got free stay. Haha.

Happy 19th Birthday Joshua!

This post is gonna be hard to type. Because there's so much to recall! 

I was suppose to blog about it yesterday. But I was occupied. So here I am wishing Joshua aka retard happy 19th birthday! Love you much. I hate and love you. :)

Still remember how we first met? We were form 3 back then. How time flies. It's been what? Five freaking years! You're the new student in our school, previously from Lodge School. We didn't know each other the first week. But it all started during our orientation. I high 5-ed you! And that's when our friendship starts. Can't believe our friendship actually started with a high-5. 

I was in 3D the first week. Transfer to 3A the second week. We're the only two not taking Chinese subject. So every time we have exams in school, during Chinese exam, we'll be somewhere in school studying. 

We're in the same group for some projects. Geography project! What else? You were so busy during form 4. Competitions here and there. Every time not in class! I think I'll be able to count the times you're in class using my ten fingers! That is how busy you are!

I still remember you made a dish for me! Egg dish. Don't know the name! It's yummyyyyy! 

We got closer each year. I remember us competing against each other. Together with Ah Xiang. See who will get the highest score in tiny wings! That was during form 5! Brings so much memories! 

I still remember how me and you run all the way to Hollywood Bridal just to print those photos for Daryl. Not to mention it was scorhing hot that day. Even run to popular to buy some stationary. It was one hell of an experience. Lol. Not sleeping just to finish the present for Daryl. It was a super long day. Crying so badly on the phone when Daryl leave Kuching. 

We did quite a lot of stuff together. There's too much to list down! Do you remember when the few of us went to your house just to play! It was so fun! 

And when we went bowling! Not to mention roller skating too! Can't believe we chased each other with the rest while roller blading! So much fun and brings back lots of memories! Baked cake together for Pik Ai's birthday. You really pissed me off during her birthday! 'Piak'! Went damai together with Daryl. Even had buffet dinner at Pullman!

Overnight at Hilton! Heart to heart talk. But I was too tired I fell asleep. Forced you to sleep on the couch. Haha. Don't hate me la k.

Glad that we went to the Clark Quey to play bungee jump! Not sure the name so I'll just say bungee jump. It's definitely worth the money. 

Thanks for letting me hit you again and again. I guess you have no choice too. HAHAHAHA. Thanks for the stay at your place during our trip to Singapore! Thanks for everything that you did. Thanks for the photo frame that you and the girls gave me for my birthday. Love it much!

Find a girlfriend Liao! Don't stay single too long okay! Please take care of yourself la. Don't always lose your stuffs. Too much money don't know where to spend is it? HAHAHAHA. 

Ps: I'm mad at you for not wishing me happy birthday. I'm still mad.
