Grateful is the word for today. I cannot stress how grateful I am. I am really really so thankful to have met these people when I came here.
You know how they say 'we don't meet people by accident, they are meant to cross our path for a reason'.
I can't believe how many people have helped me while I'm here. I'm so lucky to have each and everyone of them.
First of, I want to thank my cousin's friend and a lady. If it wasn't for them, I would have left my luggages in Melbourne. ._.
I am so thankful that my mum is here with me the first week! I was so quiet back then. She talked to my housemate more than I do. And she even know the accommodation more than I do.
My housemate! Hubert. I spelled his name wrongly. I thought it was Hilbert. But turns out to be Hubert. Anyway, he's from the Wallis island. I think that's how it's spelled? Not sure either. He is a very nice guy. Buff guy. 👍 he vacuums the floor and cleans the kitchen. He throws the rubbish. Good housemate. I'm so glad that he has a router with him. We shared our wifi. Cheers to more wifi and cheaper deal.
Ps: I only have one housemate and he's a guy. Don't think too much. He is a nice guy but nah, he has a gf. Hahaha. And I'm not into him either. But I hope it stays this way. I don't want to have six people living under the same roof. It's gonna be a chaos. It's better to have less people in a unit. It's so much easier. We have our own room of course. There's still some privacy.
David. My former classmate. Hahahah. Hi David. :P I asked him tons and tons of questions. I kept asking and asking. About everything. Like how I should do this. Where can I get this. And stuffs. I need to thank him for helping me downloading a virtual router! Hahahha. Also helped me to bring some stuffs from Malaysia. He bakes too. Thanks for the cupcake! It's good! He also helped me in my assignment! Haha.
I met Martin while me and my mum walked back from grocery shopping. He's from Kuching. How lucky I am to meet Kuching people here. This guy. He should study economics. He knows so much about the world news. Here and there.
I'm also grateful to have met Amanda. My friend from China. She's doing her Phd in Education. That is just wow. I found my partner to go grocery shopping with. Hehe.
Met another Kuching friend called Bryan. This guy knows computer stuffs. He is awesome man. Haha. Cause he helped me with my laptop! Now that I can surf the net without using the cable. Hehehe. Somehow, my housemate forgot his username and password. So he annually set up the router for us. ✌️ Such a nice guy. Thank you for that!
I have to thank Andrew too! I can't believe I'm still in the same uni with me. We're in the same high school. Went a levels together. I mean not together. You know what I mean. Now uni too?! Wow. I can't believe it. Haha. Anyway need to thank him for telling me that I need to get this and get. I need the access card to get into the library after office hours. And the Medibank card. Haha. I'm so blur. Didn't even know until he told me. So thank you! I appreciate your help.
Met a senior during the BBQ session. He's from Penang. Malaysia people! He loves to cook. And me and my friends we have the privilege to taste his lovely cooked food. It's awesome. We ate Kim chi fried rice. And a lot more.
Another Phd friend that I met through my housemate. He is also doing education. They told me that I can use this to checked if I plagiarize in my assignment and stuffs. So helpful! I am really thankful! Those helpful tips really help me a lot in my assignment!
I was telling Lenians, Josh and Daryl that I hope I met more girl friends when I come here. Well it turns out to be the opposite. I still have more guy friends. But I'm so grateful to meet each and every one of them! They helped me so much! Couldn't ask for more!
I am really thankful and grateful. I really do appreciate each and everyone of them.
Be thankful in life and you will get more. Always be contended and appreciate the things in life.
