Thailand - Part III

We went Pattaya! Hello Pattaya! It's my first time going there. I would say it's different. As in different compared to when I went to those islands in Sabah. Maybe it's because I thought it wouldn't be any different to the ones I've been in Sabah. But I was wrong. Haha. It's so different. There were so many people that day. May it be foreigners or locals.

Para sailing here we come! It's my second time doing this. My first time was when I was in Sabah. But, this is different. We went to this place where there's this big boat, and the people will help us with those safety equipment. There we are waiting for our turn to fly up high in the sky. I couldn't really see anything because I had to take my glasses off. Too bad for someone who's wearing glasses. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. At least I tried it. And it's worth it. Haha.

We then went under the sea. It's time to feed the fish! We had to wear this huge heavy helmet on our head, wearing this sandals so that we won't cut ourselves. It was my first time doing that. Of course we have someone to guide us. Someone professional. I want to touch those fish! But they are so sensitive. I'm not even close to them and they're swimming away as if I'm gonna eat them up! Well, it's okay. We fed those fish with bread. The hungry fish were nomming their food all the way. It was fun watching them enjoying their food. The guy gave us the coral! He broke it into smaller pieces and gave it to us. Haha.

The super fun part was when we went jet ski! Woohoo! It was so fun! Riding it with full speed. The funny part was when we chase these two random guys who were on the jet ski too! But unfortunately we ran out of fuel and had to turn back to refill it. Tried to look for them after that but failed. Haha. Oh well. No fate. Doesn't really matter also la. Just for fun it's an adventure! Once in a lifetime experience.

Couldn't upload the photos now because I'm blogging using my laptop. Haha. Will upload those pictures soon. Or you can check out my instagram account. Oh wait. I put it private. Don't worry guys! I will put it public soon. I dislike how people on Instagram follow you on Instagram but unfollow after that. Ugh. What do you want? If you want to follow me jiu follow me la. If you don't want jiu don't want la. Don't follow and unfollow. That irritates me. Stop that. I don't want to hate people. Don't make me hate you.

Okay, I shall stop now. Until next time.

Thailand - Part ll

Hello people!

Gonna talk about my trip to Thailand few days ago. Now that I'm back in Kuching, I have all the time to blog.

We went to several places while in Thailand. Some of the few places we went were Siam Paragon, Centralworld and Terminal 21.

Three of these shopping malls are huge! The Spring in Kuching cannot be compared to those shopping malls in Thailand. Haha. No offense. There are various brands that you can find in Thailand and you can't find them in Kuching.

I was so happy when I saw Royce in Siam Paragon. I was like

'Jacq, I'm so gonna buy those chocolates back to Kuching! We can't find it in Kuching.'

The last time I bought was last year when me and my friends went to Singapore. Man, those chocolates are yummy! I would say that it is cheap because those chocolates are fantastic! But, it's quite pricey in Thailand. For the same type of chocolates, it's way more expensive than in Singapore.

I searched online for Garetts' Popcorn. Sadly, they don't have franchise in Thailand. Those popcorn are superb! Yummiest popcorn that I've ever tasted. There are several flavors to choose from. I love their caramel's popcorn. Ahh. I want those popcorn!

Okay, back to the topic. Terminal 21 has very nice architecture designs. Love those. Even in the toilet. Those toilets have huge mirrors! There are many small shops selling clothes. And and I saw this shop selling instant cameras! I even took a picture with a huge polaroid. This shop sells really cheap polaroid. It's cheap compared to the prices they sell in Kuching. I have one already, but I wanted more. Hehe. Girls ma. Well, it's not something I need, it's just something I want. I wanted a longer polaroid. A bigger ones. And guess what? They have it in that particular shop! It only costs 2990! So freaking cheap! I was thinking or not whether I should get it. In the end, I bought it. So happy! It's worth getting it. Wanna know why?

1. It's cheap.
2. I don't have this kind of polaroid.
3. It'll never be outdated. (For now hehe)

HAHAHAHA. I shall talk about something else.

Apparently, Siam is one of the building. There's also Siam Discovery and Siam something. I forgot the name. ._. Sorry guys. I'll try to recall. Siam something has this shop selling Magnum. I bet most of you know about Magnum. Ice-cream! Yes! Magnum ice-creams are quite pricey. But, it's delicious! They were selling new flavors so me and Jacq both bought one. We bought chocolate brownie flavor! Man it was superb! It's worth the price!

Oh oh! About Centralworld. There's topshop and topman there! Yeah! The clothes were on sales! I went in and I saw a dress that I really love. I love the material of the dress, the design and the everything tiny things! Bought it in the end. Yeah! Happy girl.

It's kinda funny how I saw bra's on sale in Isetan and bought two back. HAHAHAHA. Well, it's cheaper ma! Why not buy them?! Lol. No harm buying bra's in another country right?! I still find it funny when I think about it. Why did I buy bra's in another country while on vacation. But it's really cheap compared to the prices in Kuching. What's more it's on sale! How can a girl resist the word SALES. Lol. Kidding guys. Anyway, it was on sales. So I bought it.

There's more to tell. But I think I shall stop here. Till then guys.

My thoughts. What's yours?

Okay, so here's what happened.

On the day me and Jacqueline go to Thailand, we had to transit from KL to Thailand because there's no direct flight from Kuching to Thailand. So while waiting, we went to Starbucks for drink. I wanted to claim my complimentary piece of cake from Starbucks. So there we go. I was shocked when I saw Bobostephanie there. She's a blogger! Do follow her on Instagram and read her blog! I took a picture with her! So happy! But that's not my point of this post. Lol.

We sat there waiting for the time to pass. When suddenly, two guys and a teenage girl came in. Apparently, the two of us sat in the middle with a few tables and chairs around us. So we let them have the tables and chairs. We don't need so many chairs and tables anyway. They thanked us and we smiled. Apparently, a guy and the teenage missed their flight to somewhere. And his friend was trying to help them to book another new flight. As his friend was trying to book the flight, me and Jacqueline were talking. Then, the guy was asking whether my line is good. I was like 'yeap, it was good. :)'
He has difficulty in booking their flights due to poor signal. And then, the guy was like 'can you lend me your phone so that I can help my friends to book their flight?'. I'm like 'okay, sure'. I mean why not right? But at the same time, I was reluctant to lend him my phone.

First of all, there are a lot of cases where people fraud people. There are so many cons out there. Second of all, who is he? Lol. I don't even know him. He's a stranger to me and I'm a stranger to him. But, it's very hard for me to say no. How to say no to that guy? I don't know what else to do but to lend him. Jacq was telling me to be careful. I was like okay, I will.

There he goes, booking the tickets of the friends. The guy who missed the flight was telling us that he worked for the United Nations. And he's very happy that our generations are still very helpful and willing to help strangers. He also said that I should be proud of myself for being so helpful. He thanked me for helping him by lending him the phone, thanked my parents and teachers because they taught us that we should help others when they need our help.

After booking their flight, his friend screenshot the images of the evidence of the booking flight and asked if he could send them to his email. I was like okay. So now he has my email address. I was kinda scared at first, but it was okay. The guy who worked for the United Nations even gave me his name, number and email address. He is really grateful that I helped him. I'm happy that I'm able to help him too.

A few days later, the guy who used my phone emailed me thanking me for lending him my phone so that he could book his friends flight. And even gave me his number.

So that's my story. Do you guys think he's a fraud? I believe that he's not. But on the contrary, I have thoughts too. Is he a fraud? But it's very unlikely that he's one because he gave me his name, number and email address. I don't know. I'm in dilemma. Nonetheless, I'm happy that I helped him. I'm proud of myself for helping others when they need my help. There's never once a person told me to be proud of myself for helping others. And this is the first time, the guy who missed his flight told me that I should be proud of myself for helping him. And I'm very happy to hear that from him. And yes, I'm proud of myself for helping him. It means a lot to me that I've helped others. It might not mean anything to you, but it means something to me. Me helping them might be just a small favour, but it's still something that is worth being proud of.

People, if you think I did the right thing, do comment. If you think I did the wrong thing by lending him my phone, do comment. What are your thoughts?

Second day in Bangkok!

So it's my second day here! So far So good! I can't understand a single thing of what they are saying. But it's okay!

Jacq and I went to Terminal 21. Man! That shopping mall is huge! It's a gazillions times bigger then The Spring in Kuching! You can shop till you drop in just that shopping mall. There's a lot of different brands there which I love because there's not much brands in Kuching. It's mostly the same brand in Kuching.

In Kuching, there is always one problem - where to eat? I'm serious! People are constantly asking their friends where to eat. Haha. But here! There's too much to choose from. Haha. There's a lot of choices that you can choose!

What I love about this shopping mall is that every single floors, there are of different styles. Or you can say you're in a different country. I like the concept how they build this shopping mall. Man those architects are brilliant! Not to mention the toilets! Love it! It's so huge! And so nice! I went into two of the toilets. One of them looks like the chamber of secret! It's so nice! There's a lot of mirrors! They are huge man! Such a good place to camwhore!

See! Omg.

There a more photos, but I'm lazy to upload it here. Hehe.

Went to MBK next. Had to use the train station to get there. We were buying tickets using the machine and it was in Thai language. We had no idea what we were doing. But thanks to this two ladies, there was a selection of language. We didn't even notice! So funny. It was so cool. We got our tickets and headed to the train. But before that we had to slot the ticket into this machine. It's super funny. Because its our first time using train in Thailand and we had no idea how things work.

MBK is gigantic. It's super long. And there are so many floors. Every floors sell different things. We were looking for SIM card. But couldn't find it. Buy luckily we found it in the end. Immediately call my parents! Miss them much!!

After MBK we went to Siam. It's very near to MBK. We were walking and walking and walking. Until! We found this shop called loft. Damn they sell all those cute stuffs! Ahhhh I want them! There were two floors. We were there for like two hours man! There's so many things to see! So cute and adorable! There's this two chairs, which are adjustable. We adjusted it and didnt know how to fix it back! It's was a super funny scene. I was laughing and laughing and laughing non-stop. In the end, we just leave it there. And when we went back it was fixed! Haha. Someone must have fixed it. There was a camera there. Man, those people who saw us must have laughed too! Bought some cute stuffs there!

We headed to Siam paragon. It's a more high end shopping mall. What I'm excited about that place is that there's Royce there! Omg! I'm so gonna buy those chocolates and bring them home!

Had dinner at this place. I don't know what is it called. Man I eat a lot! I mean as compared to when I was back home. I'm so tireddddddd.

Perth.

Finally I'm here in Perth! Touchdown baby! 5 hours plus of flight was tiring. Cannot stand sitting on a chair for 5 hours. It was flying at a high altitude that the pressure was so great it hurts my ears. I think the pressure is squeezing my brain too. Omg.

Landed around 5.30 in the morning. It was so cold! Less than 15 degree Celsius I would say. Had Mcd for breakfast! Had bacon and egg McMuffin. you cant find it in Kuching! It was nice. It was my first Mcd meal after Chinese New Year. I'm insisting on not eating Mcd for one whole year. But I had no choice. It's alright. When I'm back I won't eat Mcd. I used to love eating Mcd but not anymore. Sorry Mcd you're not my best friend anymore. You're outta my list! Because you're unhealthy! Here's a picture of the food.

Ta-daa! That's cappuccino. We don't have that in Kuching too.

This is avocado and chicken salad I think? It's super yummy. Bad thing about it is that those white thingy-cheese is super salty. Can't imagine the saltiness of the salad. Searched for it again but I forgot what's the name of the stall. Too bad.

It's a summer winter people! When you're feeling cold, just stand under the sun and you'll feel warm. I wanna get a leather jacket over there. Saw nice leather jacket but it's too expensive. The one I'm wearing right now belong to my cousin's. Love her leather jacket! It's really nice and comfy. Thanks cousin for lending it to me! Hope I can find one here soon.

It's so windy! We were at Garden City. Walking around shopping, window shopping. I can't believe those shopping malls close at 5 or 5.30 in the evening! They only open until 9 or 9.30 (I forgot which time) on Thursday. What?! Why?? I wanna slowly enjoy my shopping spree le. Life in Perth is really relaxing. Shops are close before 6. What to do after 6? Well, enjoy yourself at home! Lol.

This is yummy. Aunt made this for the wedding.

She made this too. The wedding cake! Nice right?

The Chinese tea set.

Inside the church.

The wedding car. Love this. Vintage much? Haha.

Cute baby!

Haha. I'm amazed to see the pig. It's so long. So crunchy and juicy. Hahaha.  Yummy yummy.

Dinner held at tsunami sushi. The decoration is so nice. It's super cold that night. Dinner was held at an open space. So imagine that! It was less than 10 degrees!

Here's the proof. See! Super cold. Was shivering. Haha. But it's once in a lifetime experience though. I mean like I've never been to any places with less than 10 degree Celsius. Some of you might have, but not me ma. Haha. Lol

Anyway, I should stop. There's too much to write. Gonna talk more about this trip soon!

Xoxo.
