These few days

Hello people! I've been busy. Like busy busy. Good thing.

Here's some story for you. 

I gave my student nougat. An Australian candy. The candy is too hard that he couldn't bite it. It's so hard that his teeth bleed. Kolien. So I told him I'll buy him other candy next time. He went home, ate an apple. You know la. Apple is hard too.  After eating the apple, his tooth shake le! Coming off soon. Lol. He then shake and pull his tooth out. Haha. I felt sorry for him. Because of the candy he lost a tooth. Lol. Then the next day another tooth came off too. So kolien la. It was so funny but at the same time kolien too.

I went Starbucks the other day with Louis. It's funny how we know each other. It's different from how I know the rest of my friends. We know each other few years back during Christmas mass. I was there with my cousins. And I saw this guy with his parents. Not knowing who he was. There's this one time on Facebook, we chatted and that's how our friendship started. Not going into details. But that's about it. Haha. My point is how often do you be friend with someone through social networking? The chances of you making friend is very slim aite? But it's true. That's how our friendship started. I was telling him that day. I have this feeling that the Starbucks barista thinks I'm a play girl. Because right. Every time I go to Starbucks it's always with different people. Like seriously. I'm not joking. Aiya but I won't be going Starbucks that often too la. My Starbucks buddy all not in Kuching Liao! No one to accompany me to Starbucks Liao. Good thing too. Then I'll not be spending so much on Starbucks. Louis was like 'no wonder that barista always looked at me'. HAHAHAHA. Sorry Louis. Had a good chat though. It was nice catching up with this sista!

Went out to three small with Kah Sing and Chris. It's been long time since I last saw them. Had a good time chatting with  them. Ate kkj. If you know what I mean. 

I've been making juice to drink. It's a combination of grapes, apple and lemon. With lots of ice! It's delicious! Especially with lemon added. Taste so good! And refreshing! You guys should try it too! Don't put too much lemon though! The taste and smell of the lemon is strong. Learnt this from Benji! A YouTuber. I did post about my chocolate chip cookies right? Got the recipe from him! He's a really good cook! And he always make green juice for his wife and daughter! My juice is not green haha because I don't have celery at home. I will try next time.

I want to watch conjuring! But sadly, I don't have the guts to watch. Went out with Eric on Friday. Went to the spring to grab some things. Then went to Howdy. It was my first time there though. I would say the environment is not bad. Quite relaxing and definitely a nice place to catch up with friends. Food was okay. Wanted to order potato salad and fries! But finished already. Aiya we were there quite late too. Lol. So it's okay. Ordered Alfredo pasta and wedges instead. Food was okay. Not bad. I don't know if they made a mistake or what. But I really think they made a mistake. They forgot to charge the wedges into our bill. Haha. Free wedges for us.

Hello people! I've been introduced to old songs since I was young. My parents love old songs. We have cassettes of old songs. Disc of old songs. I basically grow up listening to old songs. So I'm the kind of girl who's into old songs. I find them meaningful. Those lyrics are so meaningful. 

I won't get bored listening to old songs. I don't think most of my friends love old songs. I only know a few. Maybe they do just that I don't know. I can sing those old songs the whole night. Sing to myself okay. Lol. I'm super bad at singing.

Iglool overdose

I happened to saw Iglool's banner saying that anyone spending at least RM 10 and above can get unlimited refill. It only applies every Monday from 6pm to 9pm.

So there's this one Monday me, my bro, Lionel and Yee Shiun went there. We were there quite late. Reached around 8.50? It's really late. We did not managed to get any refill. Sad case! It's so not worth it. But what can we do. 

Anyways, went there again with my bro today. Which is the 2nd of September 2013. We reached there before 7.30. Placed our order as soon as we were there. I WANT TO EAT AS MUCH AS I CAN. SINCE THE PREVIOUS VISIT I DID NOT GET TO REFILL. IT'S PAYBACK TIME. HAHAHAHA. KIDDING. I JUST WANT TO EAT AS MUCH AS I CAN. So first bowl finished, second bowl it is. Second bowl done, third bowl. Continue to eat and eat and eat. Forget about diet. Diet can wait till tomorrow. Haha. I just want to eat as much as I can. 

We ate a total of 13 bowls I think? Yeah baby! RM 5.50 per bowl. Haha. It's so worth it. Totally. Eat till we can't stuff anymore into our stomach. 13 bowls only cost us RM 11.00. Less than a dollar for each bowl. Haha. 

I would say we're lucky. Why? Because today is the last day. Hahahaha. I didn't know until I saw the menu list saying it's the last day.

Smurfs 2!

Smurfy peopo! I'm the new narrator for Smurfo blog here. Okay I don't know what I'm babbling about now.

Went GSC cinema the other day. Watched Smurfs 2! La la la la la la sing a happy song. Watched this movie with Eric. 

I would rate this movie an 8/10. Haha. Sorry smurfs. I still think Wolverine movie is awesome! Too awesome to be true. Guess I love action movie more than fairy tale movie. Haha. Smurfs is cute. But not as cute as Despicable Me 2. And not as awesome as Wolverine! Wolverine is still the top movie that I'll watch over and over again. 

Here's the plot:

Smurfette is having nightmares about betraying her fellow Smurfs and turning them over to Gargamel to be captured. Meanwhile, the Smurfs are preparing a surprise party for Smurfette's birthday, but as Smurfette tries to find out what her fellow Smurfs are planning, none of them are saying a word. She takes this to mean that she is now unwelcome in the village as a Smurf.

In France, Gargamel is now a star attraction, amazing people with his sorcery, but he sees that he is running low on the Smurf essence that gives him his magic powers. With his new creations, the Naughties Vexy and Hackus, Gargamel plans on opening a portal to the Smurf village by using the Eiffel tower as a conduit so that he can kidnap Smurfette and, through her, get Papa Smurf's secret formula for creating Smurfs. However, as the portal he created is not big enough for him to go through, Gargamel takes Vexy and sends her through to the portal to grab Smurfette and bring her to Paris.

One of the Smurfs witnesses the abduction of Smurfette and informs Papa Smurf. Papa Smurf uses his magic to create crystals that would allow several of his Smurfs to travel directly to Patrick Winslow's residence in New York City in order to get his help to rescue Smurfette. Papa originally intended for Brainy, Hefty, and Gutsy to use the crystals, but instead through an accident Clumsy, Grouchy and Vanity use them. Papa and the three Smurfs arrive in the apartment right after the celebration of Blue's fourth birthday where they meet both the Winslows' young boy and Patrick's stepfather Victor Doyle, a man who is a constant embarrassment to Patrick. The Smurfs soon discover where Gargamel is, and so they and the Winslows set off for Paris in order to find him.

After their arrival in Paris, Patrick and his wife Grace work together with Victor to distract Gargamel during one of his performances while the Smurfs sneak backstage in order to find Smurfette, only to discover what Gargamel is planning. At the same time, Smurfette escapes from the prison and Vexy and her partner Hackus chase after her. Upon her return to Gargamel's hotel suite with the Naughties, Gargamel presents her with a tiny dragon wand as a feigned act of kindness, claiming that he was Smurfette's father all along and that Papa Smurf had no interest in her.

Smurfette is still reluctant to give Gargamel what he wanted until she sees that the Naughties are dying due to a lack of Smurf essence. Faced without an alternative to save them, Smurfette quickly writes it down and Gargamel mixes it up to turn the Naughties into real Smurfs. Immediately after they become Smurfs, the evil wizard puts them into his Smurfalator so he can carry out the rest of his plan.

Meanwhile, Patrick, Victor, and the Smurfs work together to rescue Smurfette. The Smurfs are soon captured and put into the Smurfalator, powering Gargamel's "Wanda" (a large-sized dragon wand). Patrick and Victor arrive just in time to destroy the Smurfalator, causing the Smurf-created formula to be destroyed in blue pixie dust that in turn vanquishes the secret formula. Gargamel has gained enough power to use his new wand against the Smurfs and their allies. Vexy and Hackus team up with the Smurfs against their former master and use the new wand to blast him away. He then falls onto the Notre Dame Cathedral where he accidentally brings a stone vulture to life which then throws him to the top of the Eiffel Tower where fireworks then set off, sending him in the air. Vexy and Hackus, the two new Smurfs, bid farewell to the Winslows and return home with the rest of the Smurfs.

Ps: blue is cute tho! Haha.

Macaroons!

Hello people! Gonna talk about macaroons. So I tried baking macaroons maybe weeks ago? Not sure when is the first time.

Fail for the first time! I never make macaroons before. So it's my first time baking. I saw on YouTube on how to make. And give it a shot. Sadly, I fail. But that doesn't stop me from trying again! Haha. I don't believe that I can't make it. I thought of the reasons why I might fail in baking the macaroons. The instructions given were in cups. So I didn't really follow it. Secondly, it's about two egg white. I didn't really follow that too. I'm like okay this must be enough already. Thirdly, because of the egg white, everything messed up already. Not consistent and stuff. End up, it looks like I-don't-know-what-it-is-too. Never mind. Never give up okay.

I decided to try another time. Second time. Same thing happen. Okay I thought of another reason which is the temperature. It's in Fahrenheit and mine is in degree Celsius. I didn't bother that and put it to 250 degree Celsius. HAHAHAHA. Busted man. Total fail. Second attempt in making macaroons fail again.

And today! I decided to try for the third time. The first and second time I watch YouTube (Ang mos) channel. Lol. So I think we ( Asian ) should not follow Ang mo style. Haha. I watch a Singaporean YouTube channel and learn making it. And it worked! First thing, they gave you the exact weight that you need, even for the egg white. And the temperature is in degree Celsius too. So it's very convenient and easy. 

I have a good feeling that it will work because the macaroon batter is not too dry and stuff. So there goes the macaroons into the oven for 15 minutes at 150 degree Celsius. It turned out great! Love it! Gonna make more!

Okay it may not be perfect, but hey I made effort in baking it. As people always say. Do not give up. I did not give up and keep trying. Even after failing for the second attempt I still continue trying. In the end, I succeed. I am truly proud of myself. I challenge myself in making it and I succeed. 

So people! Don't give up okay. Continue trying because one day you will succeed. :)

Ps: I'm so happy and touched that my friend told me 'you're one of a kind camellia ;)' This really made my day. I feel happy and appreciated. :)
